Closed for traffic due to weather conditions, is the old road Paleochori - Alona, according to a police statement on the situation on the road network. In addition, part of Makarios Avenue in Nicosia will also be closed to traffic on Sunday due to works. Specifically, due to paving works, the road will remain closed until 5am tomorrow, Monday 31/1/2022.
According to the police statement, the section of Makarios Avenue, which is closed, extends from the light-controlled junction of the avenue with Aglantzia Avenue, up to its junction with Drama Street.
Police urge drivers heading towards the centre of Nicosia to use Armenia Avenue, while drivers heading towards the exit of the capital are advised to use Agia Paraskevi Street.
