A section of Archbishop Makarios III Avenue in Nicosia will remain closed today, Sunday, February 27, due to asphalt paving and single carriageway works, which have been ongoing since Saturday morning, a police statement said.
The works are being carried out on the section of the avenue from the light-controlled junction with Digeni Akrita Avenue to the light-controlled junction with National Guard Street, with lanes in both directions from and to Nicosia remaining closed.
For travel to and from Nicosia, drivers can use Victory, Kennedy, and Athalassa avenues, as well as Kallipolos Avenue.
