The theft of a large sum of money allegedly left in her unlocked parked car by a woman, aged 40, is being investigated by the police in Paphos, while a suspect has been arrested for the purpose of police investigations. A second case of theft from a car is being investigated against the suspect, with Paphos CID and the Pafos Central Police Station's Minor Offences Department investigating the cases.
According to a statement from the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters and the complaint submitted to the CID by the 40-year-old woman, on the evening between January 26 and 27, a handbag containing a sum of money in excess of 5.
