Oil prices are jumping by more than 8% due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, with US crude (WTI) hitting $100 a barrel for the first time in seven years, while the price of Northern European gas (Netherlands) is up more than 40%. [ACCORDING TO THE FRENCH NEWS AGENCY, THE PRICE OF NORTH SEA CRUDE OIL WAS UP MORE THAN 8% TO 105.79 DOLLARS A BARREL, ITS HIGHEST LEVEL SINCE 2014. US CRUDE OIL, WTI, WAS UP TO 100.54 DOLLARS A BARREL, ITS HIGHEST LEVEL IN SEVEN YEARS.
