An outbreak of coronavirus cases has been recorded in the last 24 hours in many parts of the world, with the current wave of the pandemic affecting Europe, Asia and South America equally.
Starting with the latest, the Chilean Ministry of Health announced yesterday (Wednesday) that 29,844 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in the previous 24 hours and 9 patient deaths due to complications of COVID-19 were found. The death toll from the pandemic in Chile reached 39,742 out of a total of 2,221,276 infections.
Note that the number of infections has increased by 227% in 14 days and by 81% in two weeks.
