A fine of 500 euros was issued against a 46-year-old man in Paphos District for the use of an echo-mimicking device.
According to Pafos Assistant Police Director Michael Ioannou, on Wednesday, at 10:30 in the morning, members of the Game Service spotted a 46-year-old person hunting, illegally in possession of a device that produces mimic voices of wild birds.
A further check of his possession revealed a DOKO-type shotgun with three full cartridges.
