An out-of-court fine of €15,500 was issued to three persons, two men aged 23 and 30 and a woman aged 32, for the offence of possession of 43 kilos of untaxed tobacco products.
Specifically, according to a police statement, members of the police stopped a car at around 8.40 last night for a check, in which two men aged 23 and 30 years old and a woman aged 32 years old were travelling.
During the check, it was found that there was a large quantity of tobacco products inside the vehicle. The vehicle and its occupants were taken to the Nicosia Central Police Station for identification.
