The Pancyprian Confederation of Federations of Parents' Associations, after the first meeting of its new Board of Directors, re-evaluating the situation, requests that, for this year only, the quarterly examinations for the third grade of high schools and technical schools be suspended and the Pancyprian Examinations be held as in the previous year.
In a statement, the organized parents say that this arrangement will give both seniors and teachers time and breathing space to focus on meaningful consolidation and preparation for a good diploma and a good grade in the Pancyprian Examinations.
"In today's context, exams are no longer an end in themselves, but quality in the education of our children.
