Organized parents express regret and dissatisfaction for the teachers' attitude on Monday, stating that they will have a dialogue with the parties involved in order to normalize the situation.
In a statement to CNA, the president of the Confederation of Parents of Primary Education, Frixos Zebylas, said that "anything that creates distance between children and schools does not satisfy us."
Nevertheless, he continued, we recognize the right of teachers' organizations to go on strike or abstain from classes in asserting the rights of their members.
