The Pancyprian Confederation of Federations of Associations of Public Secondary School Parents' Associations reports that with the announcement of the schedule of the second series of the first semester examinations on January 26, it immediately identified a number of distortions that would result in great inconvenience to students, increase anxiety and create obvious inequality compared to the children who sat the A series.
Immediately on 27 January, it is noted, a letter was sent to the Ministry of Education pointing out the distortions, the most important of which is the examination of two directional courses on the same day, which "has brought the children to their limits". It cannot be considered reasonable to put Chemistry and Mathematics (GCSE), Chemistry and Biology (GCSE) he says.
