The curtain of the 24th Beijing Winter Olympic Games officially opens today at 14:00 noon Cyprus time.
The Opening Ceremony will be held at the Beijing National Stadium, also known as the "Bird's Nest."[/B] This stadium will become the first stadium in history to host an Opening Ceremony for both Summer and Winter Olympic Games, as Beijing will become the first city in history to host both Winter and Summer Games.
