30% - 35% of those who submitted applications under the programme for the employment of unemployed people in the tourism industry, came to the interview process nationwide, according to the president of the Pancyprian Federation of Leisure Centre Owners (OSIKA) Fytos Thrasyvoulou.
As stated in a statement by the president of OSIKA, the interview process for unemployed people for the purpose of employment in the food industry was completed and only 30% - 35% came to the interview process, adding that the results are not satisfactory. Many of those concerned expressed a desire to return to work when conditions permit and others informed that they had found jobs that will start in March, it added.
