One of the two men who escaped on February 5 from the Paphos detention centre was taken into custody on Saturday. He is 28-year-old Alexandros Sarkisidis, who was spotted at a burglary scene in Paphos.
According to Pafos Assistant Police Director, Michalis Ioannou, the 28-year-old was located today and arrested while attempting to break in and was wanted as part of an investigation into a case of escape from lawful custody.
