[CNA] One death from COVID-19 and 1,986 new cases announced on Tuesday

One death and 1,986 new cases of COVID-19 were announced on Tuesday by the Ministry of Health. The positivity rate was 1.94%, while 146 patients with COVID-19 were hospitalized in public hospitals.

The death involves an 82-year-old man who died today, March 1.

Of the 146 patients with COVID-19 hospitalized in public hospitals, 31 are in serious condition. Of these, one is in the Intensive Care Unit off a ventilator, 13 are intubated and 17 are in Intensive Care Units. The percentage of inpatients without a history of vaccination is 58.22%. Also, 19 patients who have ceased to be infectious continue to be hospitalized intubated due to COVID in an Intensive Care Unit.
