[CNA] One death from coronavirus and 3038 new cases announced Tuesday by the Ministry of Health

Another death, a victim of the coronavirus pandemic, was announced on Tuesday by the Ministry of Health. The new cases of the disease amount to 3038 with a positive rate of 2.67%. Patients hospitalised with COVID-19 amount to 211 with 76.78% of them having no history of vaccination. In addition, 20 post-COVID patients who ceased to be infectious (declassified cases) continue to be hospitalized intubated in serious condition due to COVID in ICU.

Deaths

The one death announced with the final cause of death attributed to COVID-19 is a woman, aged 77 years, who died on 1 February at Paphos General Hospital.

Therefore, the total number of deaths with COVID-19 as the final cause of death is 734, of which 458 were male and 62
