One death and 2,225 new cases of COVID-19 were announced on Sunday. According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, the total number of deaths stands at 731 and cases at 253,350. The positivity rate stands at 2.61%.
At the same time, 211 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, of which 74 are in serious condition. A rate of 76.31% of hospitalized patients have no history of vaccination.
Also, 19 post-COVID patients who have ceased to be infectious (declassified cases) continue to be hospitalized intubated in serious condition due to COVID in an ICU.
According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 85,303 tests have been performed to detect the disease by the molecular method (PCR) and the antigen rapid test (antigen rapid test).
