[CNA] One death, 695 cases of COVID-19 and 171 hospitalised announced on Friday

One person has died from COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to 617, the Ministry of Health said Friday. Meanwhile, 695 (positivity rate: 0.84%) new cases of COVID-19 disease were detected by molecular tests (PCR) and antigen rapid tests (antigen rapid test), bringing the total number of cases to 144,205.

In total, 171 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 57 are in serious condition. A proportion of 74.71% of hospitalized patients have no history of vaccination.

Meanwhile, 8 post-COVID patients who ceased to be infectious (declassified cases) continue to be hospitalized intubated in serious condition due to COVID in ICU.

A total of 82,410 tests have been carried out to detect the disease by the molecular method (PCR) and the rapid detection method
