[CNA] One death, 268 new cases of COVID-19, 157 hospitalized, Ministry of Health announced

One person has died from COVID-19 while 268 new cases of the disease have been identified, the Ministry of Health announced on Saturday. The total number of deaths stands at 628 and cases at 149,848. The positivity rate stands at 1.65%.

According to the Health Ministry, 157 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, of which 63 are in serious condition. A percentage of 75.65% of hospitalized patients have no history of vaccination.

A total of 13 post-COVID patients who ceased to be infectious (declassified cases) continue to be hospitalized intubated in serious condition due to COVID in ICU.
A total of 16,231 tests have been performed to detect the disease by the molecular method (PCR) and the antigen rapid test (antigen rapid test).
