The throwing athletes are the ones who will open the curtain in open athletics for 2022 on Friday, March 4, 2022, at the GSP National Athletics Stadium, will take place at the Cyprus Winter Throwing Championships, with the participation of several athletes, who will compete for the best possible premiere, in view of the long and demanding year that follows.
According to the announcement of the COEAS, based on the notice, each athlete is entitled to take part in two events, but not to take part in different categories in the same event. That is, for example, the top young hammer thrower, 16-year-old Valentina Savva, can take part in the hammer throw and the shot put, but she cannot participate in both the under-18 and under-20 categories in one of the two events.
