The Limassol Carnival, which for the second consecutive year adapts to the pandemic and focuses on events at the Lanitis Municipal Mill and the Pattihio Municipal Theatre, without parades and other mass events, officially begins today, on Ash Wednesday.
The coronation of this year's Carnival Queen, who will be embodied by Vera Efthymiou Parlalidou, will take place at 18.00, at the Pattichio Municipal Theatre of Limassol, in the presence of the Mayor, the city council and the royal family of the carnival.
