[CNA] No deaths and 3,078 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, 222 patients hospitalized

No deaths were recorded on Thursday from COVID-19, while 3,078 new cases from a total of 115,470 screening tests were announced by the authorities, with a positivity rate of 2.67%. At the same time, 222 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 69 are in serious condition.

74.78% of hospitalized patients have no history of vaccination.

According to the Ministry of Health's statement, the total number of deaths with the ultimate cause of COVID-19 remains 736, of which 460 males (62.5%), and 276 females (37.5%). The average age of those dying from the disease is 76.3 years.

In total, 222 patients with COVID-19 are hospitalized in the hospitals of the OCYPY, of which 69 are in serious condition or on NSAIDs.
