NiMAC (Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre - Collaboration: Pierides Foundation) seeks to highlight the Cyprus of the colonial period through an open call for artists working in the art of photography.
NiMAC gives the opportunity to photographers to submit proposals for its exhibition and publishing programme under the general title "Contemporary Photographic Practices at NiMAC".
The programme, according to a press release sent to the media on Thursday, aims to present the research and work of contemporary photographers from Cyprus and abroad, seeking "to approach and highlight in a critical way the socio-political and cultural realities of the Cypriot colonial and post-colonial experience,
