Nicos Christodoulides announced on Sunday his resignation as Foreign Minister, which he submitted to the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, and which was accepted, with effect from Tuesday 11 January 2022.
At the same time, in statements at the Foreign Ministry, Christodoulides expressed his interest in the 2023 presidential elections, stating that it is not yet time for decisions.
