The price of nickel continued its wild run on Tuesday as it set a new record and broke - for a while - the $100,000 per tonne barrier in international commodity markets, as investors do not rule out the possibility that Russia may soon be unable to export its production.
Around 09:00 (Cyprus time) the nickel price was rising by more than 70% to 82.
