A new mobile phone messaging scam involving Cyprus Post has recently been detected, according to an announcement today.
According to the Cyprus Post Office announcement, the new attempt to defraud by sending messages to mobile phones, using their name, refers the recipients of the messages to a link, which is not related to Cyprus Post Office.
Recipients of such messages are advised to pay attention to certain points to ascertain that the communication in question is not from Cyprus Post, it adds.
