Health Minister Michael Hatzipantelas announced on Tuesday the seven new measures decided by the Council of Ministers to limit the spread of coronavirus ahead of the Christmas holidays. At the same time, he confirmed that a large number of people positive for coronavirus have been diagnosed in the last two days at the "Pournara" Migrant Accommodation Centre, noting that a large number of these people have been transferred to the Eden Resort, in Tersefanou, while in consultation with Interior Minister Nikos Nouri, people who are positive or their contacts will be transferred to another place.
The Cabinet decided to reopen schools after the Christmas holidays on January 10.
