A coordinated operation to police the community of Chloraka took place yesterday, Friday, from 5 pm until midnight, with the participation of members of the Paphos Police Directorate, the PAPD, the PAPD Headquarters and the Airport Security Directorate (ASA).
According to a statement by the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters, during the operation, a check was carried out at an apartment complex in Chloraka, for violations of the decree concerning the settlement of international protection applicants in that community.
There, 12 persons were found residing in violation of the decree and after being charged in writing, they were released to be summoned later.
