The European Union is facing rising energy prices following sanctions imposed on Moscow over Ukraine, a Russian Foreign Ministry official said today, according to Interfax.
Nikolai Kobrinets said Russia is a reliable energy supplier, but is also ready for a tough confrontation in the sector if necessary. He did not give details of what that confrontation might mean.
