The Cabinet today approved minor changes to the measures in place to tackle coronavirus, such as lifting the ban on entry to restaurants, cafes and theatres for unvaccinated children aged 12-17, the extension of the 'test to stay' to the National Guard, changes to the criteria for nursing home workers and a reduction in the time limit for the administration of the booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to five months.
A statement from the Ministry of Health said that at the Cabinet meeting, Health Minister Michael Hadjipandela "presented the recommendations of the members of the Scientific Advisory Committee discussed at yesterday's meeting, where the data recorded by the Tracing Team, the hospitals of the Ministry of Health and the vaccination coverage rates of the population were analysed and evaluated."
