A juvenile allegedly tried to break into the Peyia police station.

According to the Paphos Police Department Press Officer and Head of the Paphos Police Department Michael Nicolaou, a minor tried to break into the Pegeia Police Station when members of the Pegeia Police Station were on patrol and absent from the station.

As Mr. Nicolaou said, last night it was found that the external metal barrier door of the Pegeia police station had been damaged and glass had been broken at the main entrance, while it was apparent that an attempt had been made to break in.

Upon further investigation and after examining the closed circuit of the Peyia Police Station it was determined that a 17 year old female visitor had attempted to break into the police station.

The young woman had previously been spotted by a patrol of the Peygia police station.
