The Ministry of Health clarifies that the reduction from 14 days to 10 days for close contacts to be restricted under protocols applies to people who have no history of vaccination, people who have completed their vaccination programme and the 7-month period has elapsed and people who have become ill and the 90-day period has elapsed.
What applies to close contacts
If they have received a booster dose of vaccine, effective on the same day as the booster dose, close contacts are not required to self-limit, provided that Personal Protective Measures (mask, hand hygiene, keeping distance from other persons, reducing contacts, self-monitoring for symptoms) are observed. Recommendation for a free Rapid Antigen Test on the 3rd and 5th day after contact through the tracing procedure.
