With a view to further deepening relations between Cyprus and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in a wide range of areas, members of the Cabinet accompanying the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, during his visit to Dubai, held meetings with their Emirati counterparts today.
Specific actions were put on the agenda in order to promote cooperation between the two countries and to proceed with the implementation of actions that have already been agreed upon.
In his statements, Defence Minister Haralambos Petrides said that he and his Emirati counterpart discussed developments in Ukraine and the next steps for the stability of the wider region and the Eastern Mediterranean.
