The Minister of Health, Michalis Hadjipandela, was briefed today on the treatments and equipment available at the German Oncology Centre (GOC) in Ayios Athanasios, Limassol.
According to a statement by the Ministry, Hatzipandela visited the GOK, which is celebrating four years of operation this year since its opening in October 2017.
"Hatzipandela was informed about the innovative, as he described them, treatments and equipment by the founder and Medical Director of the Centre, Professor Nikos Zamboglou and a team of doctors," it added.
Professor Zamboglou informed the Minister about the specialised treatments carried out at the Centre, which is contracted to the GESY, within the specialities of Radiation Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pathological Oncology and Nuclear Medicine.
