Vice President of the European Commission Margaritis Schinas received a delegation of the Cyprus Demographic and Migration Policy Institute, the Cyprus Centre for Studies and the Institute of Greek Culture, which presented him with a memorandum on the migration issue with the positions of the three institutes and which was supported by personalities from public life.
The memorandum and the names of the personalities were sent to the media on Wednesday. It states, among other things, that Turkey is instrumentalizing migrants and at the same time transferring settlers to the occupied territories to reverse the population proportions between Turkish Cypriots and Turkish settlers and for denaturalization.
