Minister of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Prodromos Prodromou chaired on Thursday a meeting with the President and members of the leadership of the Pancyprian Confederation of Associations of Parents and Guardians of Public and Community Kindergartens. The meeting was also attended from the Ministry's side by Director General Neophytos Papadopoulos and Director of Primary Education Marios Stylianides.
During the meeting, a statement said, the Minister informed organised parents that on the basis of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, free compulsory pre-school education is being extended from the age of 4, with appropriate planning and programming being undertaken by the Ministry.
