The meeting of the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, with the Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nayhan, which was to take place today at the Abu Dhabi Palace, was cancelled due to the unstable situation and the rapid developments in Ukraine.
As announced by the Presidency of the Republic, the Crown Prince of the UAE will hold a series of emergency meetings on the implications of the situation regarding Ukraine for the UAE and the countries of the region.
Therefore, his scheduled meeting with the President of the Republic at the request of the Crown Prince himself has been cancelled.
