The American basketball community is shocked by the news of the death of Lucia Harris, a pioneer of the game in the United States of America.
Harris passed away at the age of 66 in the state of Mississippi, her family announced. "It is with deep sadness that we announce that our angel, our sister, our mother, our grandmother, our Olympian, our basketball queen, Lucia Harris, died unexpectedly today in Mississippi."
