[CNA] LGBTI+ culture change needed in Cyprus says Justice Minister signs memorandum with UK

The Minister of Justice and Public Order, Stefi Drakou, focused on the need for a cultural change regarding the rights of the LGBTI+ community in Cyprus, as she signed a memorandum of understanding between Cyprus and the United Kingdom for the protection and promotion of the rights of LGBTI+ people. The ceremony took place on Tuesday afternoon at the Presidential Palace.

The memorandum was signed online with the UK Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, Amanda Milling, who was accompanied by the High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus to the UK, Andreas S.
