[CNA] "Last warning" from STEC on staff shortage in hotels

The last distress signal to take immediate measures and decisions to solve the problem of staff shortage in the hotel industry, sends a statement by STEK, noting that although the issue has been urgently raised for months, hotel businesses are still on hold with time frames narrowing alarmingly.

"The indications for 2022 are very encouraging and could be the year of substantial recovery after two very difficult years. However, under the current circumstances we will be forced to leave licensed rooms and similar services out of operation as it will be practically impossible to cope with the increased demand," said STEC President Akis Vavlitis, according to a statement.
