The delays in the issuance of property titles and the digitization of all procedures were discussed, among others, by a delegation of the Pancyprian Association of Land and Building Development Entrepreneurs with the Deputy Director of the Department of Cadastre and Land Surveying, Ilias Ellikos, in the presence of officials of the Department.
According to a statement of the Pancyprian Association of Land Development and Building Entrepreneurs, the representatives of the Association raised for discussion, among others, the delays observed in the issuance of title deeds, proposing that the process of issuing the title starts at the completion of the building shell, in order to significantly reduce the waiting time, a proposal that requires amendment of the legislation.
