[CNA] Kofinou Primary School "embraces" the children of asylum seekers, says Presidential Advisor G.Skalias

The children of asylum seekers attending the Kofinou Primary School were embraced with love by the community, said Georgios Skalias, special advisor to the President of the Republic on education issues, who visited the primary school, as well as the Reception and Accommodation Centre for International Protection Applicants in Kofinou, in the presence of a community leader and a lieutenant of the Ministry of Education, and spoke of "a plan to further improve the present structure".

In statements following a visit to the Reception and Accommodation Centre for Applicants for International Protection in Kofinou and the Kofinou Primary School, Georgios Skalias said that "the visit clearly demonstrates the President's concern for these people, who for very serious reasons, perhaps even for reasons of their own lives, left for the unknown with a boat of hope.
