[CNA] Jail, penalty points and driver's license revocation for 28-year-old man in drugged driving case

The Larnaca District Court today handed a 28-year-old man a prison sentence, penalty points and a driving disqualification after finding him guilty in a case of driving a car under the influence of drugs.

A statement from the Police Headquarters Communication Office said that "the Larnaca District Court today imposed a one-month prison sentence on a 28-year-old man, after finding him guilty of a case of driving a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs," an offence that occurred on February 1, 2021.

The Court "also imposed on the 28-year-old, a five-level sentence and deprivation of his driving licence for a period of four months".
