In the same line with all International Sports Federations and International Organizations that organize international sports competitions for the measures against Russia and Belarus, is the Group of International Triathlon Organizations, IRONMAN. The group organizing these races decided to cancel the race in St. Petersburg as well as the Russian and Belarusian athletes from all its events.
As a statement said, in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the IRONMAN Club stands in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, their athletes and their community, and condemns the actions dictated by the Russian leadership during this deeply troubling international crisis.
