Investigations are continuing apace into the case involving a Paphos Chemist who allegedly carried out a rapid test using ear swabs, according to a spokesman for the Police Headquarters Communications Branch.
He said the case came to light when the Ministry received information that the laboratory in question was using ear swabs to conduct rapid tests.
Following a check by a competent officer, the information was confirmed and as a result the Ministry withdrew the licence from the laboratory.
