International athletes from 30 countries are participating in the Ayia Napa Triathlon 2022, which takes place on Sunday.
In a statement, the Municipality of Ayia Napa said that "the race is being held for the 8th consecutive year and is expected to attract a large number of participants despite the great difficulties brought about by the pandemic".
It is noted that "international triathletes will compete in swimming, cycling and running in three different distances.
