Interest rates for corporate deposits fell to a new all-time low, reaching 0.02% in December 2021, while the interest rate for household deposits remained unchanged at 0.06%.
Compared to November 2021 (0.05%), interest rates for corporate deposits decreased by three basis points. Deposit rates have been on a downward trend for several years, as part of the low or negative interest rate policy pursued by central banks around the world, including the European Central Bank.
