The easiest thing would be to have a lockdown, as is done in other countries, Health Minister Michael Hadjipantelas said today, adding that efforts are being made "the hard way" to implement the measures.

As reported by the GMP, in statements at an event held by the Larnaca Technical School and asked whether a tightening of the measures against COVID-19 is expected at the meeting this afternoon with the Scientific Advisory Committee, the Health Minister replied that "I am waiting to hear from the experts. I will convey all their suggestions to my colleagues in the Cabinet tomorrow and we will decide accordingly."
