As we had predicted last week, there would be a problem in terms of staffing our schools, said PDOED President Myria Vassiliou in a statement to CNA.
"This was expected, since there was already a problem before the closure of schools for the Christmas holidays when there were fewer cases. Unfortunately, however, the shortage in school staffing will continue again tomorrow Tuesday, since the replacement competition that ended a short while ago has ended with dozens of replacements not finding a holder," she added.
