In the last 24 hours (from 06.00 on Sunday until 06.00 today, Monday) the Police carried out 3017 checks nationwide as part of its campaign for compliance with the measures and implementation of the provisions of the Infectious Diseases Act. As a spokesman for the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters Communication Branch told CNA, during the checks 27 complaints were received from citizens and six premises managers, with the highest being an extrajudicial fine of 3000 euros.
As for the checks by province, in Nicosia 1206 checks were carried out, without any complaints, in Limassol 387 checks were carried out, which resulted in 20 complaints from citizens and five establishments, in Larnaca 477 checks were carried out, which resulted in 2 complaints from citizens; in Paphos 126 checks were carried out, which resulted in 2 complaints, BR\](CNA)
