The "test to stay" measure in kindergartens, pre-primary and special schools will be implemented from today, Monday 21 March 2022, as part of the Ministry of Health's efforts to keep schools safe and operational.

A decision to this effect was taken at last week's Cabinet meeting, as part of a series of relaxations of coronavirus containment measures.

In a statement, the Ministry of Health had announced that children, who are close contacts of a confirmed positive case within the school premises, will be allowed to come to the predetermined points announced by the Ministry of Health for a rapid antigen detection test (rapid test) on the 3rd, 5th and 7th day after contact.
